Attend the Italian Life Expo in Portland, Maine Next Week
The Italians are invading Portland, Maine following week! Never worry, it is a friendly invasion for the first Italian Lifestyle Expo. Held at Portland’s waterfront Ocean Gateway Center, the festival will host exhibits on meals, wine, and journey possibilities in Italy. Six sessions about the weekend will emphasis on wine tasting, journey, and culinary goods. The celebration is sponsored in component by Dream of Italy and proceeds will benefit Maine’s Institute for Global Research and the Spannocchia Basis, which supports conservation efforts and environmental training in Tuscany.
Among the mostly Italian exhibitors are dining establishments, vintners, out of doors and sports experts, travel and tour businesses, the Italian consulate and Italian language experts. Artisan items from Italy will be obtainable to sample and purchase, including cheese, prosciutto, olive oil, Italian regional wines, preserves, garments and ceramics. Guests will have the opportunity to go over journey choices with Italy travel authorities, which includes traveling in Tuscany, browsing locations off the tourist track, and taking cooking lessons in Italy.
The Italian Life Expo will be held from June nine-eleven from 11am-nine:30pm at Portland’s Ocean Gateway Middle. Periods drop on Friday and Saturday, with a welcome reception on Thursday. Website visitors can get sessional tickets or day passes, which incorporate access to the exhibit hall, a wine glass for sampling Italian wines, foods, and samples of artisan items.
