Rome: New “Made in Italy” Museum and Aquarium
In an effort to boast Rome's prestige and reputation, by enticing new travelers and return site visitors, a string of new, present day string of points of interest will be opening in the EUR neighborhood of Rome. Esposizione Universale Romana, far better recognized as EUR, is an region in southern Rome identified primarily for business and artwork. Mussolini originally ordered the place built as the place for the 1942 World's Honest, but that thought was abandoned at the onset of the war. A "Created in Italy" Museum as effectively as an Aquarium are now planned for the neighborhood.
Tourism official Mauro Cutrufo feels the "Created in Italy" Museum is the "one thing different" visitors are seeking for not yet another historic wreck or church but a thing new, desirable and engaging. The Palazzo Civiltà del Lavoro, one particular of the most iconic buildings in the EUR given that the 1940s, is undergoing renovations and when completed will be the museum's house. All goods baring the prestigious label, “Made in Italy” that is synonymous with substantial vogue, style and production, will be on exhibit.
Also including to the allure of EUR, in 2012, Mare Nostrum Aquarium is set to open beneath the area's synthetic lake. -- Kendra Howard
